Professional Development Grants

GUIDELINES:

Pioneer Valley Regional School District (PVRSD) staff members are eligible to apply as individuals, as teams or as groups for educational and professional growth opportunities such as workshops, conferences, visits to innovative programs, exchanges with other professionals that encourage learning and communication between staff and enrich all teaching and learning in the classroom. Professional development activities should promote cooperation with colleagues, encourage collaboration with others, benefit comparable classrooms within the district, provide for community awareness and/or involvement and enrich teachers’ experiences. (Tuition for courses or individual research is excluded.)

Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of planned activities to allow time for the program committee to review application.
